2020 OKHPR-PAC Primary Runoff Endorsements

We are proud to announce 5 candidates from the Oklahoma Senate who have received our official OKHPR PAC endorsement during the 2020 primary runoff election.

Our official voting guide has been published at okhpr.com/2020runoff. In the voting guide, you will find survey grades and voting records that helped us determine endorsements. Many are also worthy of your vote and some are not! We are urging CAUTION on those.

We did not endorse any incumbent who did not fill out a survey or have an A voting record with us. Many came close, but only these made the cut. If you find a race with no endorsement because of equal scores, please email us at info@okhpr.com with the district number in the subject line and we can try to provide more clarity so you can make the best decision.

A (+) means they authored, co-authored or defended legislation that protected parental rights, health choice, informed consent or medical privacy in some capacity while in office.

Vote! August 25th!

BREAKING NEWS! No Required Parenting Class!

Breaking! The Parenting Class Rule is DEAD!

The Oklahoma State Health Department’s (OSDH) Commissioner Lance Frye has implemented an emergency rule to roll back a recently approved agency rule that would have added an “education” class before parents can opt their child out of a medical procedure.

The infamous “parenting class” was proposed by the OSDH before Commissioner Frye was appointed. The rule was voted down by the House and was not taken up by the Senate due to a shortened session, therefore giving it to Governor Stitt. In June, the rule was approved by Governor Stitt as a package of all permanent administrative rules. Governor Stitt was not able to single out certain rules and upon approving it said, “However, I have concerns with certain rules, and my team and I will review our options to address these rules moving forward.”

Let’s send big thanks to Commissioner Frye and Governor Stitt for their commitment to parental rights! PLEASE! Don’t assume others will do it for you. Two more emails!

Send a thank you note to:
