This week brings both good news and critical action items for those advocating for health, parental rights, and environmental safety in Oklahoma.

Victory: HB 1755 Pulled

We are pleased to announce that Representative Dell Kerbs has decided to pull HB 1755 after hearing feedback from concerned Oklahomans. You can read his full statement here!

We extend our gratitude to Representative Kerbs for listening to the voices of Oklahomans and making the right decision for our state. Let’s continue to stand together in support of our farmers, ranchers, and all who contribute to a healthier Oklahoma!

Calls to Action: Important Senate Bills

As we celebrate this victory, we must stay engaged and push for critical legislation. Here’s how you can help:

Support the Vaccine Transparency and Informed Consent Act (SB 807) & Ivermectin Over-the-Counter Bill (SB 426)

  • Call and email Senator Paul Rosino, Chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, to urge him to hear these bills.

Stop Weather Modification & Biosolid Use (SB 430, SB 1021, SB 268)

  • Call and email Senator Grant Green, Chair of the Senate Energy Committee, to ask him to hear:
    • SB 430 & SB 1021 (Authored by Senator Jett and Senator Sacchieri) – Prohibit the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals, substances, or apparatus to manipulate weather, temperature, or sunlight.
    • SB 268 (Authored by Senator Jett) – Prohibits the land application, spreading, sale, and distribution of biosolids.

House Bills: Act Now Before the Deadline!

All House bills must be heard this week, or they will be dead for the session. Urge committee chairs to bring these bills up for discussion!

Support Vaccine Transparency & Informed Consent (HB 1079)

  • Call and email Representative Cynthia Roe, Chair of the House Public Health Committee, to urge her to hear HB 1079 (Authored by Representative Hildebrandt).

Protect Students from Discrimination Based on Vaccination Status (HB 1475)

  • Call and email Representative Dick Lowe, Chair of the House Common Education Committee, to ask him to hear HB 1475 (Authored by Representative Adams).

Ban Biosolid Use in Oklahoma (HB 1726)

  • Call and email Representative Nick Archer, Chair of the House Agriculture Committee, to request that he hear HB 1726 (Authored by Representative Shaw).
