FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Oklahomans for Health & Parental Rights is calling for an immediate special session of the Oklahoma legislature to provide health privacy and health choice to Oklahoma’s workforce.
Too many Oklahomans this holiday season are being confronted with the difficult choice of getting a COVID-19 vaccine or booster that they do not want or being fired from their jobs.
A large number of members of both the Oklahoma Senate and the Oklahoma House are also in agreement. We are incredibly grateful for those lawmakers who have publicly called for a special session as protecting Oklahoma jobs saves lives, our economy, and the holidays for many families that are depending on a steady paycheck this season.
This call for Oklahoma follows states like Florida, Ohio, Kansas, Idaho, Iowa, Arkansas, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Alabama, Utah, Missouri, Texas, Tennessee, Iowa, Wisconsin, and North & South Dakota who are moving swiftly to protect their healthcare industry, their supply chain and the unemployment benefits and jobs of their hardworking citizens.
We now ask that all Oklahomans stand together with their fellow Oklahomans who are facing job loss this holiday season and support our elected officials in calling for an immediate special session of the Oklahoma legislature to protect Oklahoma jobs. You can find the contact information of all your elected officials at oklegislature.gov at the bottom right of the above website after entering your specific Oklahoma address.
